GOOD NEIGHBOR NEXT DOOR PROGRAM (GNND)
HUD is introducing its Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)/Officer/Teacher Next Door home sales programs after taking a number of corrective measures to prevent home-buyer fraud. To be eligible, firefighters, EMT, law enforcement officers and teachers must be employed full-time and agree to make the homes their sole residence for three years following the purchase. In addition,Teachers, Firefighters, and Medical Technicians must serve the area where the home is located with exception to the Officer.
NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND GOVERNMENT ENTITIES
Non-Profit Organizations and Government Agencies offerings will be made available pursuant to HUD program policies. Non-Profits must be approved by HUD to participate in the Single Family Property Disposition Discount Sales Program. To apply to become a HUD-approved Non-Profit you will need to complete the appropriate non-profit application located here
DOLLAR HOMES PROGRAM
In an effort to expand its partnership with local governments in helping to foster housing opportunities for low to moderate income families and address specific community needs, HUD is introducing its Good Neighbor Program.
